We are very happy to release the debut single from Life Of Puffin; 'Carnival' is a breezy house track that fits perfectly to your end of the summer, either as a party starter or for those after hours.

Behind the LOP-alias we find LPeewee, the beatmaker and producer from our hometown Bergen who has over nearly two decades developed his signature sound as something playful, colorful and forward-thinking.

Over the recent years he has worked and produced for artists such as Lars Vaular, Miss Tati, Son Of Light, Ralph Myerz, Sadat X and Lupe Fiasco. He is also the co-founder of groups like Peanut Holmes and Subluis. With releases on labels like Beatservice Records and So Real International, LPeewee is well respected nationally as much as he is internationally.

After a long career that spans from making beats for all of our favorite Norwegian rappers to touring all over China with artist Xiao Ou, Son Of Light and Jah Wei, he now creates house music which sonically directs us towards where he is coming from and reveals his musical world of imagination, and where he is headed. With his original blend, Life Of Puffin delivers highly danceable music on a loose tip. "Carnival' is the perfect example of that.

The single is taken from his forthcoming album titled 'Bird House' which is expected to be released 2020. Jungelens collaboration with our longtime friend, Life Of Puffin, is leading up to be one of our highlights this year and we're very proud to present the first taste of his sound in the shape of ‘Carnival’. A single that pays tribute to cultures and ceremonies; "All cultures have ceremonies and rituals, and some, are crucial for the culture to survive and thrive. This song tributes the sort of ceremonies that binds us socially, encourage us individually and uplifts us spiritually" (Life of Puffin).
